Just me again! I get a lot of messages daily from girls asking where I get my lips done, so thought I may as well make a post about them to answer all of your anticipated questions!
Where Do I Get My Lip Fillers?
First of all, the place where I get my Lip Fillers is a place in Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne called Newcastle Skin Clinic. The nurse who I get my treatments off is called Luisa, and seriously she is the best ever! If it wasn't for her and her magic hands I wouldn't have the results I have today! She runs the clinic, and it is the most comfortable and friendly place - which is ideal for those of you who are scared of needles or simply just nervous as it's your first treatment.

Step By Step Procedure Performed At The Clinic
Once you book in with Luisa, on arrival to the Clinic you will be greeted by the friendly receptionist, and she will hand you a form to fill out. This is just basic details like your Name, Address, D.O.B, any Allergies, Have you had a cosmetic procedure before and if where? etc. You then will be seated and offered any peppermint tea or water. Once you hand your completed forms back in you then have some numbing cream applied to your lips after you have removed any make-up that is already on or around your lips. This takes around 15-20 minutes to be fully numb, rest assuring Luisa makes sure that they are fully numb before she goes ahead with anything. This does tingle, and make you feel like your drooling when your really not! It's quite funny to be honest!
Once all is fine and dandy Luisa will take you into the procedure room, lay you down on the cosmetic bed, and go through a step by step guide to which treatment you are having and how much of it you are having. She also goes into detail about the product she is using to create the look. For instance when I get my lips filled, Luisa uses a brand called Juvederm.
What is Juvederm?
When all is agreed and you are happy with the treatment plan you are getting Luisa sets up her equiptment and gets her magic hands going. The last time I went to Luisa for a treatment was the second last weekend in Febuary, just in time before my 21st birthday celebrations. I previously had 1ml injected in December so this time I was just visiting for a quick top up so my lips were looking even more plump. This time I had 0.5ml added between my top and bottom, adding more into my top lip as this is where I want most of the definition to be. Honestly. the procedure at whole is very pain free. You can't feel a thing. Luisa is very assuring and will make sure you are comfortable throughout the whole procedure. It normally takes around 45 mins to do.
Once you are happy with your new found results Luisa will go through the aftercare with you to make you aware of anything you may need to know i.e bruising, swelling and will also set you a review date.
Honestly, I don't know what I done before Lip Fillers. I would never look back, and I just want to thank Luisa for giving me the perfect Kylie Jenner lips I have today!
