My Top 5 Foundation's!

16:27

Hey my lovelies, so I thought I would do a quick post on my top five foundation brands. A lot of people ask what foundation I use, although I never depend on one make-up brand. I switch it up daily/weekly depending on my make-up look or mood.

1) Giorgio Armarni - Luminous Silk Foundation

(The colour I use is number 6 Golden Beige)

This is by far my most FAVOURITE foundation. I love the way it applies to your skin, I either apply it with a damp beauty blender or my Real Techniques Stippling brush. It has medium coverage, and applies with a silky texture. It is very lightweight considering the coverage. I love it because it gives you such an amazing glow without that oily feeling. It's long lasting also, I can apply it first thing on a morning and it will still be in place later on the night. It is a bit on the pricey side as it's ranged at £36.50 but I can't stress how amazing it is! Holy grail!

2) Nars - All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

(The colour I wear is Tahoe)

This is also another love of mine! The coverage is quite light but it gives you a perfect dewy glowing look. Perfect for summer! It blends so easily, I apply this with my damp original beauty blender. Even thought it has light-medium coverage it is very build-able. It states that it is 16 hour wear, I have never had to wear make-up for this long, but assuringly it doesn't budge on my skin. It is priced at £32 which isn't too bad in my opinion for how good the product is.

3) MAC - Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

(I wear shade NC40)
This used to be my favourite foundation until I found my holy grail which was Giorgio Armani luminous silk. The coverage I'd say is medium-full depending on how you apply it. It has a very thick consistency. I always apply it with a stippling brush as my beauty blender seems to soak it up so much with it being thick. I have a few blemishes on my chin and jaw line, and it covers them just with the first application. One is enough as I can assure you a little of this product goes a long way. It is priced at £21.50.

4) L'Oreal True Match Foundation

(I use shade W5 Golden Sand)

This foundation is so good for how cheap it is. It has a perfect warm undertone which is perfect for my olive skin complexion. I always struggle with drug store foundations as they always differ and aren't true to match. This however is very good coverage, I've read reviews where people have stated that it's a cheaper dupe to the MAC SFF foundations. I can't say it's as good, but it is definitely worth a try. It looks flawless on and leaves a lovely silky feel. It is retailed at £9.99.

5) Revlon - Photoready Airbrush Effect Foundation
(I wear shade 004 Nude)
I was instantly drawn to this in Boots when I was passing by browsing and thought I'd grab it and give it a go for a cheap alternative for everyday make-up. I was quite impressed with it, it is very build-able. It's very creamy and blends in very well. Although it is very oily based when worn after a few hours so I can't stress how important it  is to set with powder especially on the T-Zone areas. But overall it is a very good foundation. It is priced at £12.99.

Thanks for reading, these are just personal favourites of mine, I'm not stating they are the best foundation out there but they're good to try! Hope you liked this post :)
